One unopened roll of Fujichrome Astia 100, best before 1999. A film that's been sitting in quiet denial about its own expiration for a quarter century, much like anyone who still lists a landline as their primary number.

Astia was the go-to film for many portrait photographers back in the days before digital. With a natural colour palette but balanced towards low contrast and more natural skin tone, it was a favourite for portraits and fine-art work. I was never a big fan of Astia, but that's only because I really didn't have enough time or opportunity to test it and dial it into my workflow. Other photographers I knew swore by it and loved it.  

This film is best before more than 25 years ago. It is expired and offered AS-IS. We have not tested it and although we are sure it was well stored in a cold environment (fridge or freezer) no guarantees are made as to quality. We recommend you do some testing before committing any important images to it.

Please note, it is processed in E-6 chemistry and provides a transparent image (a positive slide image).
